I'm originally from a small timber town in Western Australia known for its jarrah. For my undergrad I completed a double degree in Science and Arts at Curtin University, majoring in Maths and Digital & Social Media, before picking up a First Class Honours in Mathematical Sciences. Currently, I'm a PhD Candidate in Applied Maths at Adelaide University, under the supervision of Dr Ben Ye and Prof Lewis Mitchell, where I model opinion dynamics over complex networks; with a particular interest how social media platforms influence their users opinions and how actions and opinions coevolve in social dilemmas.
Outside the academic bubble, I love music and films. You'll find me at the cinema pretty regularly, or in May, talking about Eurovision like it's my full-time job.
